Hello, everyone. I'm sorry I've been lax with my blogging of late, things has been crazy. To make it up to you, I took a quick look at Bad Rats. It's a puzzle game where you, as a bad rat, are tasked with constructing puzzles to murder cats. It's interesting enough as a game, I suppose. But nothing about the graphics or the design make me feel like playing more of it. In fact, as you're doing these puzzles, the cat you're set to murder mewls pathetically and cowers, and when you do finally kill it it explodes in a shower of gore and eyeballs and brains. I... didn't care for it. Unfortunately, my efforts to capture my own playthrough of the first level failed, so I have to yank something from YouTube. But you'll get the gist.
So yeah, weird robot voice for the tutorial, awful graphic design, and just plain ol' nasty cat murder. Not my thing.
So uh, don't buy it, probably!
